As I had been fireman for two years, I would like
to share with you some pictures about this topic.
I used to live in a small town, called Châlons, 150 km
east of Paris. Here are some photos of fires and
accidents I've been working on :
The following ones are the vehicles we use to stop fires progression
and to help people who need assistance, on roads or even at home.
On a few trucks, scales are used to pick up victims on roofs,
or people who are trapped on the top floors of high buildings.
Youhouuuuuuuuu !
If you pay attention to this particular one, you can even see
me on it. But who is this blond haired man in the car ??!!
It was during an inventory... We have to check if anything
is missing, to be always ready to go on intervention...
Here are my crasy partners. I was called with them very
often. So I know them very well and we're now close friends.
There is a tradition, in Châlons. When someone comes back
from his first fire, he is "helped" to have a shower in a place
where he can be easily seen. ;) Like a street, or so on ....
An example with a friend of mine (a girl) :
I hope Benjamin will post photos in the following days.
Waiting for him, I wish you a very nice day.
Romain
